My Approach

I am trained in several modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MCBT). I provide psychoeducation on how our mind and bodies interact to empower clients to understand and validate their own experience. I address several aspects of psychological flexibility and identify how current stressors developed as a necessity for old environments/relationships and how to adjust them to be congruent with a person's current values, goals, relationships and resources.
